A cracking night at Carlisle last night as Jamie Gormley and Flood Defence notched up another win for the yard and for Owners Let’s Be Lucky Racing. It’s been a wee while coming for Flood Defence but having pulled hard in the early stages, Jamie settled her well and came with a run in the final furlong. She clearly relished the conditions. We also ran Lara Silvia who didn’t enjoy the going so much! Hannah Crawford did a great job in turning them both out and becoming a bit a lucky charm to the winners enclosure!
