Hello! We have had a busy, but successful couple of days with 10 runners in total, all of which finished in the top 5! Our first runner of the 10 was at Southwell. Milly & Bruce accompanied him. GOBI SUNSET finished 5th in the 6pm under Dougie Costello for his owners Bruce & Susan Jones. At Newcastle, Ailsa, Hannah & Sam were in charge. HAVEYOUMISSEDME finished 5th in the 6.45pm under Andrew Mullen, for his owners, Lycett Racing. WEE FAT MAC was next up to finish 4th in the 7.15pm under Mohammed Tabti, for owners The Strattonites. LOOM LARGE (pictured) ran in the 8.15pm and finished a wonderful 2nd beaten by 1/2 a length, and ridden by Andrew Mullen, for Bruce & Susan Jones. Sam led him up and was easily the happiest person at Newcastle racecourse. Finally, JKR COBBLER finished 3rd in the 8.45pm for Alexander Rankin under Andrew Mullen.
Yesterday we headed to Hamilton with 5 runners, who all ran great races. First up was UP THE CLARETS who finished 4th in the 4.35pm under Andrew Mullen, for owners, Scott & Jimmy Fyffe. We then had ‘The Girls’ (both pictured) in the 6.15pm where CATHERINE CHROI finished 2nd under Mohammed Tabti, and MOSTAR DREAMS finished 3rd under Andrew Mullen, for J Fyffe, L McGurty & A Edmundson. They both ran good races. LUNACY picked up 4th in the 7.45pm under Andrew Mullen, for his owners, The Crown Lunatics, D Bell and K Elliot.
The star of the 10 was HOUR BY HOUR who won the 7.15pm under Mohammed Tabti, for owners, Lets Be Lucky Racing & D Carroll. He ran an absolute cracker under a great ride from Mo, and absolutely relished the ground. A huge well done to all of his connections.
