Good Morning. We have a quiet day today ahead of a very busy week with meetings at Ayr, Hamilton, Haydock, York, Aintree, Hexham and Uttoxeter. Tomorrow we head to Ayr with 4 runners. We are exercising the horses a bit earlier this week due to the extremely warm forecast! The team have pulled together and are coming in at 6am so that the majority of the horses get ridden before the heat.
We have had various runners this weekend; AFTER JOHN ran at Haydock on Friday evening and finished a respectable 4th under Andrew Mullen for the Lady Jouse Partnership. On Saturday, Ailsa headed off to Beverley with FLORAL SPLENDOUR who ran a great race to finish 2nd under Andrew Mullen, for owners Castle Construction. Yesterday, Ailsa and Milly headed to Perth with EXCELCIUS and PURE SURF. Excelcius finished 6th in the 2.25pm under Conor O’Farrell, for owner Mr Gerry McGladery and PURE SURF was unfortunately PU but it was a great blow for her first run in over a year, and a great opportunity for Ailsa, who had the ride. Lindsay headed to Beverley with BRINGBACKMEMORIES who finished 7th under Andrew Mullen. Unfortunately no winners but we have had a great week with lots of fantastic runs and 3 great wins!
