Good Morning and happy Friday! It has been freezing this week, with temperatures hitting lows of -8 degrees! As a result, our gallops have been frozen but the team have worked extra hard to ensure that the horses are still getting exercised (And are nice and warm!). We are very grateful for our walkers and our school! We are also extremely lucky that Powfoot beach is only a ten minute drive away, meaning we have been able to take our horses with imminent entries to do some work at the beach! We headed on both Tuesday and Wednesday. Pictured below is Iain and BASHFUL, Hannah and BELIEVE ME NOW, Ailsa and DUNNET HEAD, Cara and RAVENSCRAIG CASTLE, and Becky and THE GAY BLADE.
We were also lucky enough to gallop horses at Newcastle on Wednesday night after the racing! We only had one runner, PARISIAC in the 2.33pm, so Ailsa & Kyla also travelled down with BASHFUL and SIBYL CHARM, who Ailsa and Andrew galloped. Thank you to Newcastle for marking this a possibility!
Today we head with two runners to Newcastle. Ailsa, Milly & Hannah accompany the horses. We are looking forward to giving hard working, Hannah Crawford, the ride in the amateur jockeys race! Wishing all of our owners, the very best of luck:
