Wild Sam was our only runner at Kelso yesterday. His participation in the 2m 4f Racing TV Handicap Hurdle resulted in a memorable win for our Hawick born Conditional Bruce Lynn…in front of a home crowd. Sam relished the testing conditions and under a cool ride, turned for home with 6 horses still in front of him. Bruce patiently held on to him, jumped the last upsides the long time leader and went 2 1/2 lengths clear at the line.
