Hello and Happy New Year! We have had a busy start with 10 runners already, and a further 5 today. We had some fantastic results on New Years day from both codes. At Musselburgh, our first runner was WINDS OF WINTER who ran gamely for 3rd under Brian Hughes, for J Scott & G Gibson in the 1.10pm. HALF SHOT ran well in the 2.20pm under Brian Hughes for 3rd for The Farming Army. RAVENSCRAIG CASTLE was unlucky for 2nd in the 3.30pm under Brian Hughes for Castle Racing Scotland, Sinclair and Jardine. Hopefully he will get his nose in front soon. It was unfortunately not BRINGBACKMEMORIES day in the 1.45pm as he PU.
Over at Newcastle, a busy day was had with 3 runners in the 4.40pm and 1 runner in the 5.10pm. We managed to get our first winner on the board for 2025 courtesy of NOVAK (pictured) who ran an absolute blinder to win the 4.40pm under Archie Young for Francesca Mitchell. WEE FAT MAC finished 3rd for The Strattonites and KATS BOB 8th for the Dorman’s. THE GAY BLADE finished a respectable 5th for the Iain Jardine Racing Club under Archie Young in the 5.10pm.
Yesterday saw us back at Newcastle with 2 runners; GISELLES IZZY and JUMP THE GUN. GISELLES IZZY ran well for the Iain Jardine Racing Club for 4th under Andrew Mullen.
Today sees us back over both codes… Lindsay & Cara head to Musselburgh with the jumpers and Ailsa & Bruce head to Southwell with our All-Weather horses. Wishing all of our owners the best of luck:
