A quiet Friday ahead of a busy weekend!

Yet another fantastic day yesterday with some good results from the horses. Our only runner at Thirsk, TRICORN, ran a great race in the 1.40pm to get 2nd under Jamie Gormley. He was upfront for the majority of the race and was unfortunately beaten to the post. Well done to his owners J P Hames and Dorman. We are certainly happy with that! 10 minutes later we then had our first runner at Musselburgh, HOUR BY HOUR for the Duchess of Sutherland, Evelyn. It was his first run, and he certainly showed some willing for the future. Next up was PARAMARIBO who ran a cracker in the 4pm to finish 3rd. He picked up in the final two furlongs and was unfortunately beaten to the post. A great ride from Andrew Mullen and a good result for his owner, Mr C. H. McGhie. Our final runner of the day was for the Musselburgh Lunch Club in the 4.35pm; THE GAY BLADE. I was pleased with his run. He picked up a very respectable 5th place. He will undoubtedly come on from that run. A fantastic picture of him below taken by Claire at Hands and Heels Photography in co owner, Gerry McGladery’s lucky colours! A massive well done to all of our owners!

We have no runners today but we do have a busy weekend ahead of us. Tomorrow we head to 2 tracks with 3 very capable runners. Fingers crossed for some good results. Wishing their owners the best of luck:
