Good Morning and Happy Monday. We have a quiet day today with only one runner. The rest of the horses will just be having a steady canter up the all weather. We have Baker McVeigh vets in as well who will be giving the horses a check over in the midst of a busy season. Our Ayr runner heads off with Kayleigh at 3.30pm. Wishing his owners the best of luck!

We spent Friday afternoon at Carlisle with 2 runners. DAJARUS finished 8th in the 3.30pm under Andrew Mullen for The Strattonites. Good old MERRICOURT raced strongly to the line in the 4.30pm for 2nd under Andrew Mullen for owner, Mr Allan McLuckie. An absolutely brilliant run and just extremely unfortunate to be beaten to the post! Well done to all of his connections regardless! A lovely picture of him and Ericka below.
On Saturday Lindsay, Max and myself headed to Cartmel with ANIMORE and TEN GS. Max was on board TEN GS in the 2.09pm and Alan Doyle was on board ANIMORE in the 4.29pm. Both of the fillies finished 7th for their owners, Iain Jardine Racing Club and Mrs A. F. Tullie. It was a good day out regardless.
The highlight of our weekend was getting back into the winners enclosure on Sunday thanks to EXIT TO WHERE in the 2.47pm at Kelso for his owner Mr Raymond Anderson Green. An absolutely fantastic ride from Derek Fox and a very well deserved win! There were certainly a few celebrations last night! He is pictured below looking rather proud of himself (as he should!) in the winners enclosure with Max, Derek & Mr Anderson Green. Massive well done to all of his connections!
