What a beautiful day! The horses are getting the sun on their back for work day. As usual a very busy Wednesday with horses warming up on the all weather, some working round the grass, and a handful of them going through the stalls. We’ve had some lovely pieces of work this morning. We have an extremely busy week ahead of us next week so it is final preparations for some! Andrew Mullen and Alan Doyle are in to ride out so I have them, Jamie Gormley and Poppy Wilson doing most of the grass and stalls work!
I was delighted with HAVEYOUMISSEDME who ran a good race yesterday at Wolverhampton to get a very respectable 3rd for his owner Lycett Racing in the 6pm under Andrew Mullen. He has been a great horse to train from the age of 2 and I am excited for his year ahead!
We have no runners today but have some running every day for the rest of the week. Next week we have over 20 entries so it will most certainly be a busy week. I am enjoying the fact that the flat season has kicked off now. Looking forward to hopefully a successful year on the flat!
