It’s the Fighting Fifth Weekend!
Tonight I am at The Northern Awards which I was nominated for after our Ayr 4 timer! I am really looking forward to it.
We are extremely excited to be going into the Fighting Fifth tomorrow with 4 runners. The Fighting Fifth is notorious for being called off for the rain, wind, sleet or snow, so we are hoping the weather forecast stays in our favour and all goes ahead! The Fighting Fifth has a small field, but the Rehearsal Handicap is one of the most competitive races we have seen in a long time. How National Hunt Racing should be!
We would like to wish Jamie Gormley luck for tomorrow, as it is his first time being jocked up as a Dual Purpose Jockey.
