The sun is still shining going into the weekend. We have been completely spoilt with the weather this week! We have a quieter weekend with only two runners before an extremely busy week ahead, with the Scottish Grand National next weekend which we are really looking forward to. We have Dave Armstrong’s lovely COOL MIX entered in the Scottish Grand National, as well as various other horses in different fixtures who will also be travelling to Ayr to hopefully get their head in front for their owners. I am hoping we have as good a day this year as we did last! COOL MIX ran a cracker under Conor O’Farrell to get placed 5th out of 22. To say we were delighted was an understatement! Fingers crossed for yet another fantastic run from this special boy. He is pictured below at the Scottish Grand National last year! A great photo from Grossick Photography!
It is the Go North Finals this weekend. We have two runners over the two days. Our first runner of the week is heading to Musselburgh with Kayleigh. She is running in the Go North Lady Buttons Mares’ Series Finals. The ground is good to soft, and the race will be run in the sunshine; a great way to end the week! I am hoping that she runs a good race for her new owners and wish them lots of success with her! :
