What a lovely week we had last week. Hitting reality again today as the weather has changed. It is thankfully still dry but certainly not so warm! We had a great couple of days work for the horses last week. On Friday we had some of the horses schooling, one of which being yesterday’s runner, EXIT TO WHERE. He certainly tested my seat! We had Midge Mullen in on Saturday which meant that various horses were worked round the grass and the two-year-olds were taken through the stalls on the grass for the first time. Our weekend runners, PURE SURF and EXIT TO WHERE who headed to the Go North Championships at Musselburgh and Carlisle both ran good races and finished respectably in 5th. Pictured below is a fantastic picture taken by Hands and Heels Photography of PURE SURF, picking her feet up at Musselburgh in her new colours for Mrs C Brown and Mr Michael Wares.
We have three runners heading to two different tracks today. Our own, Ailsa and Max are on board ay Hexham too! Wishing them both the best of luck!
