Good Morning. A frosty start to the day. We had a brilliant day yesterday opening our doors to the public for National Racehorse Week. We had 150 people in attendance who all enjoyed visiting the horses, watching them round the grass gallops, a parade, a go on the equicizer, physio and farrier demonstrations and information about IJR Racing Club. We also welcomed the local newspaper, West sound FM & ITV Border to the yard to catch some snippets of the day. It was wonderful to showcase our brilliant horses & team and show everyone what goes on behind the scene. We even managed to feature on ITV border at 6pm last night! Some pictures of our day…
We have one runner heading to Chester today ahead of an extremely busy weekend; 8 runners at 3 tracks tomorrow and then we have 2 runners at Doncaster on Sunday and 4 at Musselburgh. Catherine and Sam set off at 6.30am this morning. Wishing her owners the best of luck:
