A quiet couple of days

We have had a quiet couple of days at home with no runners, however we have a busy weekend with runners at Haydock, Perth, Redcar and Hexham. It will be ‘GRACES QUEST’ first run tomorrow at Haydock for Mr & Mrs Johnson, she works well at home so I’m looking forward to her debut. Sue & Malcolm Johnson bred her themselves, results as an Owner/Breeder are all the more special and help for future prodigy.

I think I have TOKARAMORE in a great race at Perth tomorrow. Naturally I would like her over fences but options are limited and with the team in form and the ground right, sticking to hurdles with her is a good Plan B. Ailie Tullie is looking forward to a day out at (hopefully) sunny Perth.  STAGE POWER makes his 2nd start over hurdles for us. I do think the handicapper was harsh when he moved from Irish to Scottish soil. We’ll see if I’m right tomorrow.  As I’d hoped, KRAKEN POWER has come out of his mid-week race well and goes again at Redcar tomorrow.

Shares have become available in our runner at Hexham on Sunday, NEW DEHLI EXPRESS (pictured below). Purchased at the Goffs Land Rover Sale, he has a strong pedigree and although it’s taken him a while to get to grips with the game, all the preliminary is now done.  He’s a fantastic, progressive handicapping opportunity for someone to take on and will make a chaser in time.  Fit, sound and well…he’s a ready to go package.  Shares start at 5%, please contact the office for more information.

On Monday we welcome The Owners Group who own PEARL WARRIOR. Their visits to the yard have been limited due to covid so it will be great to see everyone again.

We hope you have a great weekend!
