Hello and Welcome back! It has been a while since we updated our journal. We are still busy with around 60 horses in at the moment. We have a large fraction of our flat horses currently enjoying their holidays, with some still in full training for a shot on the All-Weather. We have various jumpers in for owners, as well as a couple of yearlings being broken in here at Hetland Hill.
We’ve picked up 6 winners since our last blog! One of which was our lovely filly SECOND FIDDLE (pictured), who picked up her 5th win on the bounce at Newcastle on the 17th October. She has since finished a respectable 3rd last time out, having gone up over 30lb in the handicap. Huge congratulations to her owners, Miss Valerie Renwick & Mr Kevin Kerr.

Cara picked up her first winner in October too, courtesy of the Iain Jardine Racing Club’s, GISELLES IZZY at Redcar. They were both extremely gutsy and got themselves through some tight gaps. She shortly after picked up her second win, this time on Graham Gibson’s, SUPERIOR COUNCIL (pictured), at Newcastle on the 24th November, proving the horses are liking her handy 7lb claimb!

We were over the moon to get a win out of HAVEYOUMISSEDME (pictured) at the beginning of November too at Redcar for Lycett Racing. He’s a wee fighter that we’ve had since he was a 2yo. Hannah’s favourite boy!

Today sees us with one runner at Chelmsford. Ailsa and Cara set off in the early hours and have arrived safely. Hoping for another great run from DINGWALL after Monday’s extremely unfortunate reverse of results, putting us in 2nd. Nevertheless, he still picked up a double last week, with Cara at Wolverhampton on Monday, and Hannah at Wolverhampton on the Tuesday. He’s also our Travelling Head Lass, Ailsa’s favourite boy. This picture tells a story! Wishing his owner, Mr Gibson the very best of luck tonight.
