James Property Ltd, Alix James (pictured white/red diamonds) ran very well at Carlisle yesterday under Jamie Gormley to finish 2nd. He sat tucked in behind the leaders most of the way but unfortunately bumped into one. He’s an exciting 2yo. We hope to squeeze one more run into him before he heads off to The Goffs September HIT Sale.
Next week I will be at The Goffs Premier Yearling Sale (27th/28th August). I love buying yearlings and working with them from scratch. We are lucky to still have Roy Barrett helping us every morning, he’s a magic man when it comes to the ground work with the young horses. We are also fortunate to have some light, talented riders who are ideal when it comes to backing. We bought Orlaith as a yearling and what an exciting project she’s turned out to be!
