Good Morning everyone and Happy Saturday. I hope the storm didn’t affect anyone too badly. It didn’t hit us until about 3pm, however I don’t think we got it as badly as others did! The team worked great yesterday and made sure all the horses had their planned work executed by 11.30am. The lovely, EQUIDAE was meant to head to Southwell for his fixture yesterday, however a sensible decision was made to abandon! It was certainly a good decision as it meant that racing staff weren’t having to drive home in the horrible conditions.
We have 3 runners this weekend, with a flat fixture today and 2 jump fixtures tomorrow. Today we are heading to Newcastle:
7pm- SLEIGHT, ridden by Andrew Mullen, owned by Bruce and Susan Jones
Tomorrow we have 2 runners heading to Musselburgh:
1.35pm- OOT MA WAY, ridden by Alan Doyle, owned by Iain Jardine Racing Club
2.10pm- LASTOFTHECOSMICS, ridden by Conor O’Farrell, owned by The Cosmic Cases
