Another good run from The Strattonites lovely 2yo, SPREZZATURA yesterday at Ayr in the 1.45pm under Andrew Mullen. He picked up 4th which we were delighted with only a couple of weeks after his first run. He stayed on well and overall it was a very pleasing run! He is pictured below pre race with Ailsa. GURKHALI GIRL also ran well under Andrew Mullen in the 4.30pm for 5th for her owner, The Duchess of Sutherland, Evelyn. It was great to get her back to the track! At Thirsk, KRAKEN FLORIDA ran his first race to get a very respectable 5th out of 14 starters under Jamie Gormley for his owner, Mr J Fyffe.
We have Brian Harding at the yard today giving some coaching to all of our staff, but most specifically, the jockeys. It is great getting him in to evaluate everyone before giving them advice and help to improve their riding.
We are heading back for day two at Ayr today for their evening meeting. We have 4 runners hoping to get their nose in front! Best of luck to all our owners:
