Another busy Saturday! It is work day for the horses; we got some fantastic pictures of them working on the grass on Wednesday. Sometimes on work days the standard of work from our horses and the level of horsemanship from our team is better showcased through pictures rather than video’s. Pictured below is some of Wednesday’s work! ‘A picture speaks a thousand words…’
We have 7 runners heading to 2 tracks as well today. Kayleigh, Hannah and I will head to Haydock and Ailsa, Anita, Sam and Val head to one of our favourite tracks, Musselburgh.
Haydock:
1.25pm- INNSE GALL, ridden by Tom Marquand, owned by Mr C. H. McGhie
2pm- HAVEYOUMISSEDME, ridden by Marco Ghiani, owned by Lycett Racing
Musselburgh:
1.53pm- THE GAY BLADE, ridden by Andrew Mullen, owned by Musselburgh Lunch Club
2.28pm- OOT MA WAY, ridden by Andrew Mullen, owned by Iain Jardine Racing Club
3.03pm- LITTLE BETTY, ridden by James Sullivan, owned by Mr Gerry McGladery
3.38pm- SIMPLE STAR, ridden by Andrew Mullen, owned by Mrs D Monteith
5.23pm- THE GLOAMING, ridden by Andrew Mullen, owned by The Strattonites
The last time that THE GAY BLADE ran it was a rather colorful affair thanks to his very sporting owners. The Musselburgh Lunch Club reminds us how much fun racehorse ownership and syndication can bring to racing. It is a lot easier to get involved in racehorse ownership than you think. If you think this is something you would like to venture into, please don’t hesitate to contact us on [email protected]
On Sunday we have one runner heading to York. Wishing his connections the best of luck:
3.30pm- PARAMARIBO, ridden by Kieran Schofield, owned by Mr C. H. McGhie
