Happy Saturday! It is not such a nice day today. It is windy and we’ve had lots of showers. It is a typical Saturday workday though so the horses are all getting worked up the all weather.
Absolutely delighted with ABOLISH’S run yesterday at Haydock in the 3.03pm under Paul Hanagan. A very respectable 2nd for his owners Lycett Racing, which has set him up very nicely for the Ayr Western meeting in a couple of weeks time. I am also very pleased with NOVAK who ran a very good race in the 3.25pm at Newcastle for 3rd under Andrew Mullen, for owner, Mrs Francesca Mitchell. He is such a consistent and tough little horse that we are excited to run over the all weather over the winter.
Today we have 2 runners heading to 2 tracks. It is our day at Ascot for Lets Be Lucky Racing. JUMP THE GUN headed down yesterday afternoon with Ailsa and is settled well; eating away quite the thing. I drove down first thing this morning and am really looking forward to my day. Kayleigh also heads to Thirsk. Wishing our owners the best of luck:
