Hello and Happy Wednesday! We have had an extremely busy couple of weeks with 38 runners over the last 14 days. In with these 38 runners, we’ve had 6 winners.
The first of the 6 winners was recently new arrival to the yard, HARAPPAN, who won on his yard debut on the 4th August at Wolverhampton, owned by Mr Hal McGhie and ridden by Connor Beasley. Massive congratulations to his connections. Hopefully the first of lots of success with him.
THE GAY BLADE made the 4th August a double by getting his head infront and won at Musselburgh, ridden by Andrew Mullen, owned by Musselburgh Lunch Club. Absolutely delighted to get his head infront at his owners most favourite track. Massive congratulations to all.
JKR COBBLER was next with his hattrick at Ayr on 7th August for owners Alexander and Lynn Rankin. A fantastic ride from Andrew Mullen, allowing us even more success with this special horse.
WEE FAT MAC got his head infront at Ayr on 12th August under Archie Young, for his owners, The Strattonites. Absolutely delighted for Archie getting his 3rd winner under rules and grateful to The Strattonites for giving him this opportunity. A big well done to all involved.
It was made a double when Hal McGhie’s INNSE GALL ran a cracker in the following race at Ayr under Aiden Brookes. A great result for Hal under a great ride from Aiden.
The last of the 6 runners was BOROUGH, who ran another cracker on Monday night at Hamilton to win the Hands and Heels Apprentice Race under William Pyle for owners, Alison Walker and Sarah Cousins. Congratulations to all connections.
We have an extremely busy day ahead of us today with 1 runner heading to Beverley with Lindsay, and 7 runners heading to Ayr, with our own Ailsa McClung and Hannah Crawford on board two of them. Andrew Mullen and Archie Young take the ride on the others and Milly and Katie will be in charge.
