10 Winners so far in 2025!

Good Morning and welcome back. It has been a while since we have updated our journal. We are extremely busy at the moment ensuring the turf horses are all fit and ready for their season ahead. We have had our first two year old runner, courtesy of Ian Jones, and we are still ticking away with our jumpers! There is to be a heatwave this week, which makes all more enjoyable! It is workday Wednesday today, so we are working horses up the all weather and round the grass. No runners today, but tomorrow sees us at Ayr with two runners, and Friday sees us at Newcastle with one, and Musselburgh with two. Pictured below is TEE AITCH AYE ahead of his run at Ayr on Monday afternoon. Isn’t he looking fabulous.

So far this season, we have had 10 winners. First up was Francesca Mitchell’s ever consistent NOVAK. He won for us on New years day at Newcastle, but has since picked up another win at Wolverhampton on the 19th April. Both times ridden by Archie Young.

BASHFUL too, has had double success for us this year, having a win over hurdles on the 1st February at Musselburgh under a great ride from Danny McMenamin, backing this up with a win fourteen days later at Kelso, under Brian Hughes. Huge congratulations to his owners, Mr Scott & Mr Gibson!

To back up our jumpers’ success, HALF SHOT ran a cracker at Kelso on the 7th April, to win for The Farming Army under Brian Hughes. Great to still be getting awesome results from one of our ‘older’ boys!

We had a fabulous day at Musselburgh for their first turf fixture of the season on the 13th April, with a double! The first leg of our double was IZZARI who won well under our apprentice, Mohammed Tabti, for Criffel Racing. Delighted to get another winner on the board for this syndicate.

Shares are still available in IZZARI, to be part of the fun, please email [email protected]

The second leg of the double, was courtesy of Ian Jones’ JONNY CONCRETE. Delighted to get a win from him on his first run of the season, highlighting quite how well he is feeling! A great ride from Andrew Mullen, and huge congratulations to Ian Jones.

Back in February we had some success from Lets Be Lucky Racing’s, FEDERAL ENVOY, who won at Southwell under Robert Havlin. A good first winner on the board for our Lets Be Lucky syndicate. The other day saw two more of their horses, JUMP THE GUN & CAN’T STOP NOW, finishing 2nd at Ayr. Hopefully they will be knocking on the door soon too!

SUSIESPARKLE also had some all-weather success back in February, winning at Newcastle under Oisin McSweeney, for owners Jimmy Fyffe, L McGurty and A Edmundson. She is currently entered next week in the Tattersalls online sale!

BELIEVE ME NOW was our second winner of the year, under a well timed ride from Andrew Mullen at Newcastle on the 10th January.
