A big day for Call Me Harry!

It has been a great start to the Cheltenham Festival for Team GB, and in fact Northern Trainers! A massive well done to Lucinda Russell and her team after their great win yesterday in the 2.50pm. Hopefully there will be a few more wins from British trainers and hopefully some more Northern Trainers too!

Today is an exciting day for all at IJR as CALL ME HARRY runs in the bumper for owners Donna & Dave Armstrong and Lee Westwood. Lindsay, Poppy, and ‘Harry’ headed down at 4pm last night to make sure they had good traffic for their travels. They arrived safely and in good timing, meaning that Harry has plenty of time to settle. Poppy has ridden him out already this morning to give him a leg stretch. She rides him out every day at home and even comes in to ride him on her days off! It is an exciting day for her, his owners and all of us at IJR and I would like to wish all of his connections the best of luck!

He is pictured below during his first ever run and win with Conor on board at Musselburgh as well as a picture taken by Lindsay this morning with Poppy on board during his leg stretch!

We are also heading to Newcastle today for Lets Be Lucky Racing’s, ZUMAATY. Hopefully, we will get a good run out of him, after his much-improved run during his last time out. Ericka and Kayleigh are heading with him!  Tomorrow we head to Hexham and Southwell with a handful of runners. It is nice having a busier week with a few more runners.

Newcastle:

5.14pm- ZUMAATY, ridden by Harrison Shaw, owned by Lets Be Lucky Racing
