A weekend filled with Highs and Lows

Good Morning and Happy New Year to everyone. We have had a busy weekend with a total of 10 runners. We had a bad start to the New Year as we unfortunately had to say goodbye to THE BRAVEST, a much loved yard character. We would like to send our condolences to Co-owners, Crowd Racing and much love to all of our staff, most specifically Sam and Roy who did most of the work with ‘Sven’ at home. We are absolutely gutted. RIP ‘Sven’.

We had a mixed bag of results on New year’s day. We managed to pick up some good results courtesy of:

OOT MA WAY getting 2nd in the 12.30pm at Musselburgh under Conor O’Farrell

KAVANAGHS CROSS getting 2nd in the 1.40pm at Musselburgh under Angus Cheleda

VOIX DU REVE getting 4th in the 1.40pm at Musselburgh under Conor O’Farrell

RAINS OF CASTAMERE getting 4th in the 2.15pm at Catterick under Craig Nichol

We had 3 runners yesterday; 2 at Ayr and 1 at Newcastle. Thankfully we had a great day and came home with our first winner of 2022. A fantastic run from SHE’SASUPERMACK in the 3.40pm at Ayr, ridden brilliantly by Conor O’Farrell. A massive congratulations to owners, Mrs C Brown and Mr Michael Wares. We are absolutely delighted! WOTSMYNAME also ran his best race to date picking up his feet to get 4th out of 15 in the 12.45pm at Ayr. A promising horse for owners K Jardine, R Griffiths and S Greig for the future.

Today we have 3 runners at Musselburgh.

1pm- SMART LASS, ridden by Alan Doyle, owned by Mr Gerry McGladery

3pm- DINO BOY, ridden by Conor O’Farrell, owned by Mr Raymond Anderson Green

3.30pm- ROAN, ridden by Conor O’Farrell, owned by D&D Armstrong
