Consistent Results Yesterday!

We had some good runs and equally some very consistent results yesterday at Hexham and Southwell. Up first at Hexham in the 3.45pm was ROAN, ridden by Alan Doyle who managed to get a very respectable 3rd place for owners D&D Armstrong! A great ride from Alan and a very happy owner too! Next up was WOTSMYNAME who, after his antic’s pre-race managed to finish the race in 4th for Nathan Moscrop for owners K Jardine, R Griffiths, and S Greig. It was a shame the final fence was blocked out or I think he would have managed to get his head in front one or two. Our only runner at Southwell, EQUIDAE had his best run for a while and finished his hot race in 4th under Andrew Mullen.

Today we just have one runner at Doncaster. She went on her travels last night to Southwell with EQUIDAE and Kayleigh and stayed over ahead of her fixture today. Her last run was extremely unlucky as she fell at the last fence, so we are hoping she picks her feet up today and gets another respectable result!

Doncaster:

2.40pm- OOT MA WAY, ridden by Conor O’Farrell, owned by Iain Jardine Racing Club

Over the weekend we just have one runner. It is Donna & Dave Armstrong and Lee Westwood’s, VOIX DU REVE who heads to their home track at Newcastle. We are hoping that he manages to get his head in front after some fantastic runs from him as of late, ahead of the Scottish Champion Hurdle race at Ayr at the start of April.

Newcastle:

3.10pm- VOIX DU REVE, ridden by Tom Midgley, owned by D&D Armstrong and Mr L Westwood

We hope everyone has a lovely weekend! It is to be sunny for the next couple of days which is perfect for working the horses up the gallops. We also have the Let’s Be Lucky Racing yard visit on Sunday. If you are interested in ownership, contact them on [email protected] as they have some lovely horses here at IJR. We have managed to get some great results for them so far!
