We had some good results over the weekend. Most notably, CLEARANCE 2nd at Doncaster, TOKARAMORE 4th at Hexham and JUMP THE GUN 3rd at Hamilton.
Hexham was a bit of a nonsense on Saturday evening. The 3m Chase resembled a bumper after they took the fences out in the home straight. The field jumped 10 in all. In my opinion, we’re either jump racing or we’re not! At this time of year, I think the BHA need to look at the timing of the meeting. Perhaps an afternoon fixture would be more sensible?
We welcomed Let’s Be Lucky Racing Syndicate is Covid Restricted groups yesterday. The 2 groups of members enjoyed a walk up the gallops and a tour of the horses in beautiful sunshine.
We kick the week off at Beverley today. HAVANA PARTY starts his 2021 campaign in the 5.15pm under Andrew Mullen.
The rest of the week takes us to Ayr, Kelso, Worcester, Ascot, Chester, Ripon, Hexham and Thirsk.
