What a day! Yesterday was a great day for the team as we had a Hamilton double… so did the Lets Be Lucky Owners! Both HAVANA PARTY and JUMP THE GUN won comfortably with Andrew Mullen doing the steering.
This was Havana Party’s first win as a 3y, we were delighted. He was the showcase at The Lets Be Lucky Gallops morning in April. He is pictured below with Sam in the winners enclosure who has been there with him since he started at IJR. Roy Barrett does all the work riding on him. He has come out of his race well, just tired, as he was still fast asleep this morning at 8am!
JUMP THE GUN won the 3.50pm very comfortably under a back to front ride from Midge Mullen. He is ridden at home most days by Hannah so a big well done to her for all of her hard work with him! It was great to be able to see our hard work paying off and getting such a great victory for Lets Be Lucky racing.
Our other Wednesday runners ran well, one being KRAKEN POWER who ran a front running race to finish 2nd in the 6f at Ripon for brothers Jimmy & Scott Fyffe. He’s entered again on Saturday and may take his chance all being well.
We have a quiet day today with no runners but still a busy day at home!
