It’s finally stopped raining

Still a brisk wind and pea soup fog but conditions above are better. We’re really busy today. Our Vets are here to scope 20 or so post-work.

We’ve two runners at Newcastle over hurdles: Traditional Dancer for Mr Ian Dalgleish and Something Brewing Owned by Cath Brown. Conor and Nathan Moscrop ride. Both are in good order at home. There’s obviously a big question mark with Traditional Dancer but I’m superstitious so least said…

Lindsay and Ellen will set off at 9.30.

Kayleigh was away at 5.30am to Tattersalls, Newmarket with Blowing Dixie.  He sells tomorrow, Lot 75. A nice, big, straight-moving and sound horse. Kayleigh’s doubled up the trip by taking a box of saddlery repairs down to Angela Barnes, Talkin Tack.

Andrew Mullen is in to ride out and will spin a couple of the 2yo’s that are only weeks off their first run.

Fingers crossed at 2.35pm please everyone…
