It was great yesterday to get back onto the racetrack after a long week off due to the frosty weather conditions! We were extremely delighted with GISELLES IZZY who won the 5pm at Southwell under Andrew Mullen for owners, Sons of Stirling. It was great to get their colours into the winners enclosure! A massive congratulations to them! NEVER DARK finished 5th in the 1.10pm under Jonny Peate, for Allison Walker and Sarah Cousins.
The horses are now able to be ridden up the all weather gallops again which is good, as it means we can continue our preparations for Boxing Day & New Year runners. We have plenty of entries throughout the next couple of weeks, our first being Newcastle & Wolverhampton on the 26th December. Before that however, we head back over fences tomorrow with two runners heading to Ayr accompanied by Kayleigh and Milly. These will be our last 2 runners before Christmas. On Saturday Evening Team IJR celebrated their Christmas night out. It was fair to say everyone had a fantastic well deserved night out. Many thanks to the Crown in Lochmaben for hosting!
