Yesterday was a good start to the week with another improved run from Tricorn at Redcar. I think a lot of this horse but it’s just taken time to switch his brain off a bit. He went to Redcar with his wee Welsh Pony companion and was really relaxed. He finished 4th under Andrew Mullen only beaten 2 lengths.
Conor has commitments down South this week so he’s popped in this morning to school She’sasupermack. She will definitely go to Cheltenham on Thursday.
I have a meeting mid morning about a new facility we’re hoping to bring to the yard, watch this space! Exciting times.
We have 1 runner at Newcastle later, Tomily for Ne-Chance Racing. I’m delighted to have this syndicate join the yard. Jamie Gormley is on board tonight.
After the confirmation stage yesterday for the Scottish Grand National, it looks like both Dino Boy and Cool Mix will get a run which I’m delighted about, as are the Owners.
Another dry but dull day here. No rain forecast for Ayr and I’m hoping Graeme MacPherson doesn’t go too mad with his watering can (hint hint)…
