Good Morning and Happy Monday! We’ve had a quiet weekend with no runners, however had a busy end to the week with runners at Musselburgh, Hexham, Southwell, Thirsk and Newcastle.
We were delighted with GEMINI MAN (pictured) who ran a blinder at Hexham on Wednesday in the 5.45pm under a great ride from Danny McMenamin, for owner Mr Graham Gibson. A fantastic result. JENTOBELLO ran a good race in the 5.15pm under Brian Hughes for 2nd, for owners Paul & Clare Rooney. A good day indeed!
Our flat horses have also brought us some good results as of late. On Thursday, QUEENS GUARD (pictured) ran on well to finish 2nd in the final race of the racing league, at Southwell under a great ride from Andrew Mullen, for her owner, Mr Steve MacDonald. We were delighted to see WHO WANTS ME finish 3rd at Thirsk on Friday in the Amateur Race for her owner, Mr Raymond Anderson Green. This was a huge result, as his grandson, Lucas Murphy was on board. A huge well done to all connections. THAT LUCAS FELLA also ran gamely at Newcastle on Friday evening, finishing 3rd in the 6pm under Andrew Mullen, for Mr Anthony Branniff.
Today sees us with just the one runner at Carlisle. Wishing his owner and connections the very best of luck:
