Paddy The Squire Wins the Lanark Silver Bell!

We had a fantastic day on Friday at the Hamilton Lanark Silver Bell meeting with the highlight definitely being PADDY THE SQUIRE (pictured) running a cracker to bring the Lanark Silver Bell to IJR! It means a lot. Huge congratulations to his owner, Mr Ian Jones, and to Andrew Mullen who did a fantastic job on board. We were also happy with a 2nd from TIERNAN in the 6.05pm, and a 3rd from MEH SUN in the first race! A good day all round.

Today sees us with just the one runner at Musselburgh. Wishing his owners the very best of luck:

Musselburgh:

Meanwhile, Iain is down at Doncaster starting the quest for the next SOVEREIGN OCEAN (pictured) as the quest for the 2026 2yo winner begins. We’ve done well with our 2yos this year, LITTLE BEAR, KODIGARA, SPIRIT OF THE WOOD and STOIC POET all placed. MEH SUN 3rd on his debut on Friday night at Hamilton. Not forgetting SOVEREIGN OCEAN’S win first time out at Musselburgh. We took a slightly different approach to the 2yo training this year with all of them going away from home 2 or 3 times before they ran. Looking forward to building on that next year. Contact us to get involved.
