Much, much cooler this morning

What a brilliant weekend of wall to wall sunshine!

No runners over the weekend but we hit the ground running this morning!  We are at Ayr, Southwell and Thirsk with 8 in total.  Most of the Team started earlier than usual to ride out before they leave and get the lorries packed.  Kayleigh and Poppy left for Southwell at 6.45, Ailsa, Hannah and Max are going to Ayr and Ben is at Thirsk.  It’s all go.

Amongst the runners today is The Owners Group PEARL WARRIOR.  It’s great to have another horse this season for such a prestigious Syndicate.  Pearl Warrior has a huge following and I’m hoping for a big run today to back up his solid Irish form and to confirm his well-being at home. https://www.racingpost.com/profile/horse/2177925/pearl-warrior/form

Some of the National Hunt horses are going to the field today.  It’s still cool enough so they’ll be rugged up at night and get fed in the evenings.  Feeding them routinely is a good opportunity to check them over thoroughly and ensures they are still getting added Vitamins and Minerals from the GAIN concentrates we feed.

We have a very busy week ahead with over 30 entries and I’ll be down at Tattersalls, Newmarket Thursday/Friday for The Craven Sale.

Wishing all Owners with runners today the very best.  We have good pilots on top in the way of Andrew Mullen, Dougie Costello and Jamie Gormley.

And to the Scottish readers venturing to a beer garden today…cheers!
